2nd Prof. Jayashanker Memorial Cricket Tournament – A Grand Success
TDF, Canada Sports Club which is the sports / youth wing of Telangana Development Forum, Canada (www.tdfcanada.org) successfully organized 2nd Prof. Jayashanker Memorial Cricket Tournament to commemorate late Prof. Jayashanker sir (Father of Telangana) on his 83rd birth anniversary. The event took place on July 15th and 16th, 2017 in Burlington, ON with participation from 8 teams.
Results:
1st Match – Eleven 11 Musketeers beat Shatavahanas
2nd Match – TDF Spartans beat TDF Nippu Ravvalu
3rd Match – Mississauga Warriors beat TDF Sunrisers Toronto
4th Match – Team Challengers beat Gully Guns
Semi final 1: Mississauga Warriors beat Eleven 11 Musketeers
Semi final 2: TDF Spartans beat Team Challengers
Final: TDF Spartans beat Mississauga Warriors (CONGRATS TO TDF SPARTANS)
Man of the Series: Surendra
Man of the match (finals): Arun
Best batsman (finals): Arun
Best bowler (finals): Sravan
Best fielder (finals): Sunil
Certificates and plaques were presented to the winners / runner ups by TDF, Canada Leadership which includes BOT Chairman Jitendhar Reddy Garlapati, President Srikanth Neravetla, Treasurer Mahendar Reddy Keesra, General Secretary Pawan Kumar Kondam, Sports Chairpersons – Sheshank Chintalapani & Krishna Reddy Chada, Cultural chair person Pramod Dharmapuri, Women cell chairpersons Sridevi Dharmapuri & Soumya Chintalapani.
