About PV Narasimha Raoji:
Pamulaparthi Venkata Narasimha Rao (28 June 1921 – 23 December 2004) was an Indian freedom fighter, statesman, literarian, lawyer and politician who served as the 9th Prime Minister of India from 1991 to 1996. He led an important administration, overseeing a major economic transformation and national security of India. He was first and only Prime Minister from State of Telangana.
P V Narasimha Rao, will always be remembered as the man who took office when the country was in its worst phase of economic, social turmoil and led the way to recovery and transformation. He is now often referred to as the “Father of Indian Economic and foreign policy Reforms”.
As per the directive of Telangana state CM Shri KCR’s government, The birth centenary celebrations of former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao are being held on a grand scale not only in India, but across the world as a fitting tribute to the exceptional services rendered by the late leader in various fields.
