As a part of Engineers’ Day Celebrations – Telugu Engineers Forum-Qatar (TEF-Qatar) has successfully organized a BADMINTON SPORTS EVENT for the member engineers working in Qatar.
The event was a great opportunity for TEF-Qatar member engineers working in Qatar to showcase their skills and sportsmanship in badminton. The tournament named Telugu Engineers Forum – Qatar “Badminton Tournament Season-1” held at STAR SPORTS facility of GEMS – American Academy School campus. The tournament comprises a total of 18 teams, competing in three categories: men, women and mixed (both). The matches were conducted in a league format, followed by finals for each category. The winners were felicitated by trophies and cash prizes by TEF-Qatar President Mr. Nawaz Ali Khan, Vice president Mr. Ramesh babu and Secretary Mr. G.K. Dora.
TEF-Qatar president Mr. Nawaz Ali Khan congratulated all the winners and participants for their excellent performance and enthusiasm. Also expressed gratitude towards the tournament sponsors INSTROL WLL, LAMINAR and M/s. ETC Equipment Trading for their generous contribution and support in making this event a success. TEF-Qatar President and Vice-president appreciated the teamwork and commitment of core committee members of the association and volunteers who organized and managed the event smoothly. This event was well coordinated and organized by core committee members Mr. Khaleem Khan VP -Sports, Mr. Vishal Rayapudi VP-Education, Mr. V.S.R. Chandra Sekhar VP-Media, Mrs. Deepa VP-Cultural Events, Mrs. Manjari VP-Women Wing, Mr. Venkatesh Kollipara – VP – Membership, Mr. Srikrishna VP-Prof. events, and Mr. Trishal VP-Social events.
One of the core values of TEF-Qatar is the well being of engineers and we believe that playing sports frequently will improve the health of the engineers. On Engineers’ Day, by conducting sports events, we encourage engineers to stay fit and have fun.
TEF-Qatar is a non-profit organization associated with the IBPC under the aegis of Embassy of India, Qatar which acts as the platform to introduce Indian Telugu Engineering professionals to opportunities that project their expertise and strengths in various disciplines for prospective alliances with Engineering organizations in Qatar. TEF-Qatar aims to provide a reciprocal interface for business and trade organizations established in Qatar to explore business and networking opportunities in India and Qatar.
