Adelaide Telangana Association (ATA) celebrated Bathukamma festival on 5 Oct 2024 in Adelaide Australia. Celebrations were held at elders park and immersion was done in Torrens River. Hon. Dana Wortley MP for Torrens represented Hon. Zoe Bettison Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Tourism, Hon. Zing Lee Deputy Leader of the opposition in the Legislative Council, Councillors Jagdish Lakhani, Surender Pal and the Indian Community Leaders attended.
President Mamatha Deva spoke about the importance of Bathukamma and Chairman Rajai Reddy, immediate president Haritha Reddy, Founder Adireddy, Vice President Sowjanya, Tresurer Prathyusha, Secretary Srujan and the committee members Anil, Prashant Reddy, Charith Reddy, Sumanth, Samrat, Manohar organised the event. Volunteers Shivagarjana team, Srinivas Vadlakonda, Sanjay Menger helped to make the event a grand success.
