ATA Philadelphia Celebrates Mothers Day 2025

The ATA Greater Philadelphia chapter hosted its Women’s Day and Mother’s Day celebration on May 10th, 2025, at the Bharatiya Temple in Chalfont, PA, drawing over 300 attendees. The event began with a Diya lighting ceremony led by ATA President Jayanth Challa and Trustee Raju Kakkerla. The opening included a Ganesha Stotram performance, national anthems of the USA and India, and a moment of silence honoring victims of the Pehalgam attack. The programs focused on themes related to women and mothers, including seminars on women's health, interactive games, and a fashion show.

The organizing team, including Raju Kakkerla, Arun Rudra, Venu Gopal Reddy Komatireddy, Vamshi Yamzala, Venu Bandi, Narender Reddy Akula, Kiran Ala, and many volunteers, extended their thanks to the community. Women’s Coordinator Neelavani Kandukuri and her team played a key role in managing the event. The team also acknowledged past president Parmesh Bheemreddy for his support and thanked the sponsors and volunteers for their contributions.
