TPAD Organizes Food Drive at Dallas Homeless Shelter
Following their recent blood donation drive, the Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas (TPAD) organized a charitable food drive at the Austin Street homeless shelter. Recognizing the needs of underprivileged communities in Dallas, TPAD members came together to prepare and serve meals for those facing food insecurity.
The cooking took place at the home of food drive coordinator Deepika Reddy, where volunteers prepared pasta with chicken, mashed potatoes, fruit, and dessert. The meals were then delivered and served by TPAD volunteers at the shelter. Over 450 individuals were served, with the help of about 50 TPAD volunteers. TPAD leaders emphasized their commitment to supporting the local community through ongoing acts of service.
Rao Kalvala(FC Chair), Pandu Palway(BOT Chair), Anuradha Mekala(President), Ramana Lashkar (Coordinator), FC Vice Chair Raghuveer Bandaru guided and co-ordinated the team efforts.
