DTC Filmy Diva Night Celebrates Style and Fun

The Detroit Telangana Community (DTC) Women’s Committee hosted "Filmy Diva Night" on April 12 at Authentikka Indian Cuisine in Canton, Michigan. The women-only event, themed “Dress to Dazzle Like Your Favorite Desi Movie Star,” brought together members of the community for an evening of games, music, dance, and fashion. Attendees dressed as Bollywood and Tollywood film stars, taking part in various activities including bingo, a raffle, and a buffet dinner. A highlight of the evening was the Filmy Diva Insta Glam Contest, where participants showcased their looks on Instagram. Winners will be announced on April 20, 2025, based on likes, creativity, and resemblance to their chosen movie diva.
