DETROIT TELANGANA COMMUNITY (DTC) Hosts Volunteer Event to Fight Hunger

On April 5th, the Detroit Telangana Community (DTC) held a volunteer event at Forgotten Harvest in Oak Park, Michigan. Nearly 50 volunteers participated, sorting and packing 6,994 pounds of food—enough to support around 27,976 people in need.
DTC President Sreedhar Aietha thanked the volunteers for their time and effort, acknowledging the real difference they made.
Special thanks to the Seva/Services Committee for organizing the event, and to the DTC Youth Council for bringing over 20 youth volunteers, adding energy and community spirit.
Forgotten Harvest, dedicated to fighting hunger and food waste, was an ideal partner for this initiative. The event showed how a few hours of teamwork can have a lasting impact.
DTC is thankful to all participants and looks forward to more community service events.
