న్యూజెర్సీ..మాతృభూమిపై మమకారాన్ని చాటిన వికసిత భారత్ రన్

న్యూజెర్సీలో ప్రవాస భారతీయులు వికసిత్ భారత్ రన్‌లో కలిసి అడుగులు వేసి జన్మభూమిపై మమకారాన్ని చాటిచెప్పారు. భారతీయ అమెరికన్ కమ్యూనిటీ, న్యూయార్క్ భారత కాన్సులేట్ మద్దతుతో న్యూజెర్సీలోని శ్రీ శివవిష్ణు ఆలయం సాయిదత్త పీఠం ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఆదివారం నాడు నిర్వహించిన వికసిత్ భారత్ రన్‌కు అద్భుత స్పందన లభించింది. భారతీయ ఐక్యత, ప్రగతిని వికసిత భారత్ రన్ ద్వారా ప్రదర్శించారు. ఎడిసన్‌లోని ఓక్ ట్రీ సాయి దత్త పీఠం పార్కింగ్ నుండి ఈ రన్ ప్రారంభమైంది. భారత్ సాధించిన అద్భుత ప్రగతిని, 30 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ దిశగా భారతదేశం సాగిస్తున్న చారిత్రక ప్రయాణాన్ని ప్రపంచానికి చాటి చెప్పేలా జరిగిన ఈ పరుగులో ప్రవాస భారతీయుల ఉత్సాహం పరవళ్లు తొక్కింది. భారత్-అమెరికా మైత్రిని మరింత పటిష్టం చేసేందుకు ఈ రన్ వేదికగా సహకరించింది.

ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి న్యూయార్క్ నుండి డిప్యూటీ కౌన్సిల్ జనరల్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా విశాల్ జయేష్ భాయ్ హర్ష్, న్యూజెర్సీ మాజీ డిప్యూటీ స్పీకర్ ఉపేంద్ర చివుకుల, సాయిదత్తపీఠం చైర్మన్ రఘుశర్మ శంకరమంచి, స్థానిక ప్రవాసులు కృష్ణారెడ్డి అనుగుల, విలాస్ జంబుల, దాము గేదెల, గోపి ఆచంట, మోహన్ దేవరకొండ, శ్రీనివాస్ భర్తవరపు, శ్రీహరి మందాడి, సంతోష్ కోరం, కిరణ్ దుద్దిగ, శ్రీకాంత్, అశ్విన్ గోస్వామి, కల్పనా శుక్లా, ప్రీతి, నీలిమ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు. వక్తలు ప్రసంగిస్తూ ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం చేస్తున్న ప్రయత్నాలను శ్లాఘించారు. వికసిత భారత్‌లో ప్రవాసుల పాత్రను విశదీకరించారు. దేవాలయ ప్రాంగణంలో మొక్కను నాటారు.

Indian Americans came together in large numbers to participate in the Viksit Bharat Run, expressing their deep affection for their motherland. Organized by Sai Datta Peetham in association with Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple, with the support of the Consulate General of India in New York and several community organizations, the run was celebrated with great enthusiasm.

The event began at the temple parking lot on Oak Tree Road in Edison, symbolizing India’s unity and progress. It also served as a platform to showcase India’s historic journey toward becoming a $30 trillion economy. The vibrant participation of the diaspora reflected their pride and excitement.

The run also highlighted the strengthening friendship between India and the United States. Distinguished guests included Mr. Vishal Jayeshbhai Harsh, Deputy Consul General of India (New York), former Deputy Speaker of New Jersey, and Commissioner Emeritus Mr. Upendra Chivukula, Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple Chairman Mr. Raghu Sharma Shankaramanchi, community leaders Mr. Krishna Reddy Anugul, Mr. Vilas Jambul, Mr. Damu Geddela, and representatives from TANA, ATA, NATS, TTA, MATA, TIFAS, HSS, Indo-American organizations, along with many other local and national Indian associations.

Several eminent community members, such as Vishal Harsh, Krishna Reddy, Upendra Chivukula, Gopi Achanta, Mohan Devarakonda, Srinivas Bhartvarapu, Srihari Mandadi, Santosh Koram, Kiran Duddiga, Srikanth, Ashwin Goswami, Kalpana Shukla, and others, actively participated.

Speakers praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and highlighted landmark initiatives such as Fit India, Startup India, Make-in-India, Digital India, UPI technological revolution, and the strengthening of Indo-U.S. ties. They also emphasized the vital role of the Indian diaspora in the vision of Viksit Bharat.

On this occasion, Deputy Consul General Vishal Harsh planted an evergreen tree in the temple garden, marking a symbolic gesture of growth and sustainability. Women from the community also attended in good numbers. Sai Datta Peetham hosted breakfast for participants in the morning, while organizers distributed Viksit Bharat T-shirts to all. The event was anchored by Preeti and Neelima.
