ATA Blood Drive in Nashville

Blood Assurance recently appealed to communities across the U.S. to step forward and help address the ongoing shortage of blood. Responding to this call, the American Telugu Association (ATA) successfully organized a blood donation drive on September 20, Saturday 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. The event saw a turnout of more than 35 people, with 26 individuals donating blood and contributing to the well-being of patients in need.

For the first time, ATA youth that just completed college also actively participated in the program, donating both blood and platelets, marking a significant contribution to this noble cause.

The blood drive was successfully coordinated by the Nashville ATA Team...Sairam Rachakonda, Vamshi Nukala, Eshaan Chanda, Narendar Nookala, Ravi Bangaru, Susheel Chanda, Kishore Guduru, and Ramakrishna Reddy Ala, whose efforts played a vital role in making the program a success.

ATA President Jayanth Challa noted that ATA has been organizing blood drives across several cities in the U.S. He urged everyone to come forward and participate in such community welfare initiatives organized by ATA.
